Instructions for use

Filling the hand spreader:

If possible, do not fill the lawn, as accidentally spilled grit can cause burns. Also be careful on stone or concrete slabs - fertilizers containing iron can cause rust stains, so sweep them away if necessary.

Set scatter value - see picture

1. First a test area (of a few square meters) in order to control the spreading density and adjust it if necessary.
   In addition to the setting value, the step and crank speed also influence the spreading density!
2. Applying the fertilizer:
   Unlock the locking head by pressing it and turning the hand crank at the same time. Walk with even steps while spreading.
3. Sprinkle the intended area evenly.
   Tip: This works very well if you sprinkle the lawn twice with half the amount.
4. Avoid any obstacles you do not want to treat at a distance of 1 to 1.5 m.
   Caution: When using fertilizers with weed killers on your lawn, please be careful with ornamental plants - they must not be hit. Fertilizers containing iron (for example fertilizers with moss killers) should also not get on stone or concrete slabs; if necessary, sweep them away.
5. Completely empty and clean the Substral HandyGreen universal hand spreader after use.
